Classic Render is off white, cement based, 2 pak polymer modified classic cement render.

Can be used as a floatable finishing coat over selected Render one Skim coats and suitable substrates to achieve a Classic Traditional Render look.

Can be used as a floatable base/skim coat.

Surface Preparation:

All surfaces to be free of oil, dust, loose mortar prior to application

Mixing Directions:

• All Render One Classic Render will be mixed with a 6:1 water polymer ratio when applied at a thickness less than 10mm

  Note: no polymer required when applied beyond 10mm thick

• Pour approximately four and a half (4.5) litres of the diluted Render One polymer into a clean empty 15 litre pail
• Gradually add the selected Render One Classic Render and mix with a variable speed/high torque mixing drill fitted with a suitable spiral mixer. 

  Note:Over mixing of high speed mixing may cause aerating which can affect usability.

Application Guide

Mix thoroughly to a workable consistency and apply to substrate using hawk and trowel or approved render spray pumps over Render One Skim coats or suitable substrates

Applied over Render One Skim Coats:

• Apply Classic Render to a thickness of approximately 2mm-4mm
• Float product utilizing a circular arm motion with a plastic trowel, plastic Diamond Float and or Render sponge to achieve a Classic Traditional seamless Render finish

Applied to suitable substrate as a base coat:

• Classic Render can be used as a self priming, floatable base/finish coat that can be built up to a thickness of 12mm using correct application methods.
• Product can then be floated or levelled with a suitable screed or straight edge to alleviate any hollows or defects
• Finish using a plastic trowel, plastic diamond float, wooden float and /or render sponge, float with a circular arm motion, to achieve a Classic Traditional Seamless Render

Painting Guide:

Allow at least 48 hours to dry before painting, paint with two (2) coats of a high quality acrylic membrane or paint
